In Pursuit of Knowledge

I had a blast with our wedding workshop this week!  It was held at one of my most favorite places in Manila, Intramuros. It was raining on the first day in the afternoon... the second day's weather was quite ok. =)  We had the honor of having Mr. Jomel Gregorio and Mr. Joe Galian as our main speakers/ professors. We learned a lot... they tried to feed us as much information to equip us in the "battlefield".  I was truly inspired by the stories told and the experiences they have shared....  though I realized that I still have a lot to learn... but like all great artists, i have to take things one step at a time.
The workshop was fun! I met a lot of talented people (my classmates hehe) and I hope to see these guys again! =)

And now, for some wedding photos! =)

The photo below won as the People's Choice Award (thanks classmates) and it also landed
second place for the Best Wedding Ceremony Photo! =D

E-Session: Vince + Tonette

After being re-scheduled due to the unfriendly and unpredictable weather, Vince and Tonette's engagement shoot finally pushed through! We had lots of fun shooting with them along with their friends Felice, Vic and Mark -- who acted as the ultimate support group of the e-session! Felice also did Tonette's hair and make-up, and she also huffed and puffed each and every single balloon! (ok, i was kidding... she used a balloon pump haha!)
Vince is a bit shy and took a little while before he finally warmed up to the camera =)... while Tonette never gets tired of flashing those smiles.

Passage

"We may not have it all together, but, together we have it all"
says the wind chime hanging in front of our house.  It was only this afternoon when i saw this hanging there... probably my mom did (maybe already quite a while).  It made me stop and think.... and i came to realize that it pretty much sums up how i feel for our family.  Growing up in this little house I never felt that I was deprived of anything.  My brother and I (when we were little) never had the latest trends in gadgets... we never had the most expensive things like other kids had... but we never felt less of a person.  I guess mom and dad did a good job not to give us everything that we really don't need.  At the end of the day, what's important is that you have a family that will stand behind you and stick with you... no matter what.... and I'm just so lucky to have them.  So to my family and my husband too (who I doubt would get the chance to read this post =P), I want to say "Thank You" for being there and for the gazillion things that we have been through. 01.01.11

I'm not really a book worm... or at least I'm not that person who would go out of my way to find a book that would catch my interest (and actually finish it).  Well, today (01.01.11), I finished a book! hooray! =)
This is the first time, after a long time that i read a book that sustained my interest. Kudos to Jessica!
And thanks to my cousin Trina for lending me this one. =)

Happy new year to everyone!

This coming year, let's continue to do something new and learn new things.
Stay positive and hopeful! =) Pin It
